"Attumen will now mount up on Midnight, wipe aggro, and will be healed up to the percentage Midnight had, if he had less HP than his horse. The main tank must pick him up immediately to prevent clothies from getting one-shotted. If your hunter(s) haven't used misdirect it can come in handy here as well. Have the MT use shield wall at this time. This way the MT can get good aggro and the boss won't pull onto the healers from initial healing aggro. Healers should keep everybody's health topped off through this part of the fight. Attumen will randomly charge once in a while and hit for 6,000+ on cloth. It's not that often though, so just heal through it. Bandaging is perfectly acceptable here. Once the tank has a solid hold on Attumen's aggro, start DPS. We usually have the off tank continue to disarm Attumen whenever possible as it reduces his damage by a large amount. Mages and Druids must be aware of the curse that he casts as it reduces your hit rate by 50%. You can usually avoid the random charges if you stand everybody in the dead zone - outside of the range of Attumen's cleave, but still within melee range. Make sure to keep Attumen facing away from the group, and only the tank should be taking damage. (This is a tricky thing to do, we were unable to keep him from charging our group, but it felt like he charged less when we did this.) Keep up the DPS and there you go - congratulations, you've downed your first (probably) Karazhan boss. Role Specifics Tanks This seems to be a very aggro sensitive fight so be alert in case you lose aggro. Get aggro of Attumen immediately after he spawns (he spawns next to Midnight), or he will go on a rampage on the rest of your raid.
After getting the -50% hit debuff, count in your head to 28, then pop shield reflection. This will send his next debuff back to him, helping your healers dramatically in their quest to keep you alive, and keeping the debuff off of you to keep threat production up. DPS A very aggro sensitive fight so do anything you can to stay below the tank in the threat meters. Healers Keep the tank alive. One healer should be enough for the tank offtanking Midnight (in phase 1). Additional Notes Attumen is primarily a gear check. Most people consider him a pushover in terms of strategy, but he hits very hard. If you find yourself having trouble it may be that your gear is simply inadequate. wow gold Collect more loot from the level 70 wings of the 5-man dungeons or from Naxxramas. When you kill the first trash mob in his room, you have 25 minutes to engage Midnight before it respawns. "Several months have passed since Blizzard announced the arrival of their first expansion for World of Warcraft, along with that announcement was a new horde race called the Blood Elves and the promise of a new Alliance race to be announced. Several months have passed, and no word yet on what that race would be. There’re many speculations on what the new Alliance race will be. Will it be a so called “ugly” race since Horde got a “pretty” race. It seems that’s the popular opinion of many WoW addicts, but Blizzard has said a few different times that that’s not necessarily their intentions. Many people are assuming that Blizzard will announce the new race sometime during E3 which is fast approaching taking place May 10-12. In honor of this possible upcoming event, I decided to get a list of what I think have been the most interesting rumors in the last several months. Some of these have possibilities, some of them have been completely debunked, and one of them is what I believe the race is most likely to be. So let’s sit back and take a trip down rumor road, in hopefully here in the next couple weeks we will really know who was right and who was utterly wrong. Drenai The Drenai, the lost ones as they are called, were probably the very first Alliance race rumor I heard when Blood Elves were announced. The Drenai fit in well with the upcoming expansion since they come originally from Draenor, which they have been disconnected from since the loss of the Dark Portal. The Lost Ones have been driven mad because of this departure, but there’s still a few sane ones left who still remember where they came from and are quite civil. With the Dark Portal being found again will The Lost Ones return home and become a new race to the Alliance.
Very real possibility that Blizzard could take this route, however, I feel since it was speculation from the beginning that Blizzard will instead look to surprise us, so I don’t think this will be the new race. Wisps On March 31, 2006 worldofwarcraft.com reported that the new Alliance race had been announced and that they would be wisps! Wisps would be the first race to have permanent death along with abilities such as detonate and a tree like form. You could even customize your Wisp to have facial hair and features instead of just being an ordinary glowy blob that we’ve seen from Wisps so far. However, this was announced on the day before April fool’s Day and has since been debunked by Blizzard as just being a joke to fool us all. Wasn’t a bad joke, but most (especially those familiar with Blizzard April Fool’s Day jokes) weren’t going to fall for it. Dark Trolls Not a whole lot is really known about the Dark Trolls in World of Warcraft, however in Warcraft 3 they had an important role. They were enlisted by the Night Elves in the Battle of Mount Hyjal, one of the battles that is being featured in the upcoming expansion. Another reason this could be a possibility is there’s currently a Dark Trolls village located in Darkshore that is inaccessible for the time being. Could this be opened up when the expansion hits. With Horde getting Elves, is it possible that the Alliance will get Trolls. It’s a pretty good possibility actually, and I have a hard time not thinking this will be it. wow gold I still think it’s another race but I won’t be surprised one bit if Blizzard announces Dark Trolls to be the new Alliance race. It’s bad enough with the Night Elves! It would make a normal person want to play Horde just to kill all the silly people playing Pandas. "A Florida man who claimed he'd been unlawfully blocked from selling copies of his unofficial World of Warcraft guide by the wildly popular game's maker can resume his sales, owing to an out-of-court settlement reached Friday. Brian Kopp, 24, had filed suit in March against California-based Blizzard Entertainment, parent company Vivendi, and the Entertainment Software Association. The complaint alleged that those organizations were wrong to order eBay to terminate auctions of his book The Ultimate World of Warcraft Leveling & Gold Guide, of which he had sold hundreds of copies since last August at about $15 apiece. Alleging the book violated intellectual-property laws, Blizzard, Vivendi, and the ESA sent repeated take-down notices, provided for by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, to eBay. The auction giant's general policy is to halt auctions when it receives such notices and to suspend a user's account after it racks up a certain number of warnings. Kopp routinely filed counternotices protesting the claims, according to his original court complaint in California federal court. Because the companies never responded to those documents, eBay was free to reinstate Kopp's auctions, which it did. But the video game industry continued to issue take-down notices, the number of which grew high enough that eBay was forced to suspend Kopp's accounts under multiple usernames. ""It's pretty much the equivalent of showing up at your store one morning and finding your goods on the curb with nothing you can do about it,"" said Greg Beck, an attorney representing Kopp on behalf of advocacy group Public Citizen. ""They get so many notices of claimed infringement that they can't investigate all claims."" The parties also threatened copyright and trademark infringement action against Kopp, but he argued the book was in the clear because it presented a disclaimer on its first page about its unauthorized nature, contained no copyrighted text or storylines, and, though it did use selected screen shots downloaded from a site unaffiliated with the video game's makers, those uses were ""fair."" The terms of the settlement do not provide for monetary compensation for Kopp, which he had originally sought.
Instead, the companies agreed to withdraw their previous take-down notices and to drop their infringement claims. They also said they'd refrain from filing any future take-down notices against the same items Kopp had already disputed through counternotices. Kopp, for his part, agreed to retain the book's disclaimers about its unofficial nature and said he wouldn't include links or instructions on how to locate ""cheats"" in the game. "Introduction: This is a guide for players who start out as Draenei. It will guide you from level 1 to 12. If you need guides for any other level range (or race) please check out this page. Attention: Other races can't get quests described in this guide until about level 6 (Azure Watch). The quests before that point are only available to Draenei but any other race wishing to use this guide can level to 5/6 in their own starting area then continue on with this guide from that point. General Tips: Always log out in an inn Get bags as early as possible Do not waste your time searching a group for quests mentioned in this guide unless you really can't kill something In general, this guide does not guide you towards class quests or tradeskills Spend your talent points to do the most damage This guide can be finished in a few hours /played, should you see that you take several hours to complete one level, you are doing something wrong Quests that aren't mentioned have been left out intentionally This guide does not take into account PvP Useful Addons: Something that's amazingly useful is the Ace2 updater. Download and install it and the program will present you with a list of addons which all use the same library (hence they consume very few ressources). From that list you can choose addons that interest you (I downloaded Fubar quest mod, Fubar location, Cartographer, Bartender and a mod to make my UI look better) and the program will install all the addons for you. Furthermore you can run the program every time before you launch WoW and choose to update all installed modules for you.
